Perfect for spooky season
YA horror done well.
The thing that stood out is how Ryan Douglass was able to put the spotlight in the horror aspect of Jake Livingston's life without sacrificing the other aspects (friends & family relationship, romance) but it didn't mean that these subplots were put to waste because the ending did a decent wrap up of everything that's happening in Jake's life.
Definitely a spooky read perfect for Halloween. (I recommend reading with audiobook!!)
