I have been looking forward to this ever since I saw the cover! I am in SUCH a mood for YA thrillers it's not even funny. What I love is how Douglass is able to infuse Jake with so much life and character from the very get go. Talk about a character I want to keep reading! That, paired with the tension you can already feel from the excerpt, makes you want to keep reading.
