I love that this book is an Own Voices piece and mixed in with that, the overall plot is so darn interesting! I love that the center of this book is Jake, a young guy forced to come to terms with not just his ability as a medium but the racist society that he lives in, and a developing crush! I love the premise of this book so much and cannot wait to read the full piece to find out what happens to Jake and his life. This book reminds me a lot of Cemetery Boys!
