The book didn't really compel me to keep going. It's about a guy named Sebastian who is kind of a bohemian guy and so are his friends. He sells fancy plants and when one specific plant comes into his shop strange things start happening. I felt like the book was an angsty form of little shop of horrors. Things picked up a little in the last part of the book but I wasn't really into it at any point. I cared very little about any of the characters and wasn't really wondering where the story was going. I was confused a lot which maybe was the point. Perhaps we were supposed to feel as confused as the protagonist. I just had a hard time following things in general and the pacing of the story was really strange. I wouldn't exactly recommend this book to anyone.
