I appreciate the fact that any book has required dedication on the part of ann author, but that said, The Sushi Prophecies just does not appeal to me. With lots of references to vomiting and someone named Booger Steve and seemingly random references to old-time rock 'n roll performers, it seems sort of like middle school humor - except for the fact that students of that age now probably would not be talking about some of those musicians from previous decades. I am not sure what the problem is going to be or who the protagonist is. I think the characters are high on something, but to be honest, it seemed like a non-drug user's idea of what an acid trip is like. I'm sorry that this does not appeal to me.
