I am very confused by this book. I know it is a small excerpt, but I find myself having no idea what the book is actually about. And, being honest, I'm not sure I care from this glimpse. I was not offput by the vulgarity, but I did find the writing style a bit pedantic for a published (or soon to be published) author. Maybe I was just missing something because that's what it felt like
