I had suspected that this book wasn't for me when I read the blurb, and this short excerpt proved that to me. I don't necessarily need to like the main character in a book, but this one irked me. The book immediately opens to him judging girls by what they're wearing, and thinking that they'll give themselves to him for a drug. I can't possibly read something with a character like that.
