Seb is running a trendy nursery in his favorite place by the beach. He meets Aira, a Japanese man that is turning a rundown building into a sushi restaurant. When unloading a shipment Seb comes across a weird plant he didn't order that seemed to have a strong unpleasant odor. He decides to keep the plant anyway. When part of the plant snaps off it oozes onto his foot. He experiences weird sensations. He begins speaking unlike himself and things seem to slow down. He goes to Aira's restaurant to see the progress and falls to the ground and passes out. No one seems to know why or what happened.
