The book starts off dialogue-heavy, which normally isn't my cup of tea but the conversation the characters are having is hilarious. Not only is this a great way for readers to get to know the characters, but it's a great flex that shows off the author's writing ability.

I like that the book eases into more of the narrative storytelling typical of fiction books pretty quickly after such a dialogue-heavy start. It adds another layer to the characters and helps you see the nuances of the protagonist you otherwise might not have caught on until later on in the book. Here, all the cards are on the table, and it's an interesting hand to be playing with.
