I felt like Selena Gomez's foreword was a little misleading. I'm all here for a really well-written self-help novel that empowers people and provides useful tools and facts... I had no idea this wasn't that kind of book. The actual content that lies within is just not my cup of tea. I'm sure it will appeal to religious audiences, however it does feel like the cover of the book suggests it's going to be something else. There's a reason why I didn't know what kind of book it actually is until after the foreword from Selena Gomez. I would not read more of this book, but I think the cover is really cute and fun, despite it not indicating what the book is actually about.
