The first thing you will find with this first impression is that the book is going to be heavily faith-based. The book starts out with each author describing how they met at a bible study group. Tanya was mourning the dissolution of a relationship and was invited to the bible study group by a friend. Raquelle prayed to God for a friend to help ease her loneliness and met Tanya at that same bible study group. They became fast friends. After the introductions, chapter one is titled "Trust God's Plans," so if you are not open to a self-improvement book that is based on a person's faith in God then this won't be the book for you. If you are on board with that, then this seems to be a well-written book. I enjoyed the author's voices and they come across as genuine.
