I think you would have to be pretty invested in Christianity to get anything out of this book. From the first sentences it absolutely rubbed me the wrong way and I was metaphorically gagging. I'm a pretty positive person but man, do these two just... grate on you. I can't stand people who take no responsibility for anything but chalk it all up to "God's plan" for their life. Like, thanks but no thanks. I was therefore primed to take any life advice given with a grain of salt (as this book seems to claim to be a self-help become a positive person sort of book) but there was actually no real self-help or advice at all in the First Look. That was actually kind of surprising. It was just Tanya rambling about how her life went from terrible to perfect due to God's plan and then a few sentences at the end of the chapter with pithy "trust in God's plan" messaging.

I am also very much not a fan of the cover.
