I loved this book! I was super interested when I heard this book had Mexican mythology because I hadn’t known anything about that and typically mythology is interesting to me. I thought the world building and character development was wonderful (it always is with his books tho) I would’ve given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that it was a little hard to follow (I might just be stupid tho lol) I was promised Percy Jackson meets Hunger Games and it was just that! Just with a little more trans, non binary, and Latinx representation. I did find that the characters could be a little whiny at times but it’s easy to brush off. I can’t wait until this book is released to see all the amazing fan art because I know whoever reads this is going to love it! I wasn’t sure if it was going to live up to Cemetery Boys but it exceeded it! I simply cannot wait until the second book comes out
