It was such an encapsulating story that it felt like I had gotten lost reading it and when I finally reached the end I couldn't believe that that was the end. The tie-ins from what feels like Aztec mythology were wonderful and so well incorporated that it didn't feel like I needed to know anything beforehand. Especially because of the introduction of creation at the start it was really easy to digest the information and continue on quite quickly without having to do any research and find out how things came about on my own. It was such a simple act of world-building but it really drew me in and made it so I could move forward with the story, understanding everything and able to take everything in how the author intended. The characters seem to be the epitome of what an insecure teenager is and it is absolutely perfect. I cannot wait for the full story to be out.
