Upon reading the preview of this book, I was so excited to finish it. The beginning of the novel immediately caught my attention and I loved the unique and interesting way the author described the gods in the novel. Based on the first couple of pages, I could already tell the world building in this story is going to be amazing. I am a big fan of YA books that feature competitions with high stakes, and this one seems to be intriguing and compelling. I cannot wait to read more! The cover is also very nice and is an accurate reflection of the novel.
