I really enjoyed the creation myth that was shown in the prologue, the Mexican fantasy elements, the birds, and the setting. I am looking forward to seeing the other gods, semigods, and everything really when we get to the place the trials are going to take place. Also, I liked that it was not super serious message fantasy so far.
The whiff I got of the love interest and initial interactions of the future couple, eh. It has that young adult romance interaction that is so common. Also, my fear is that the story is going to get serious a bit with certain things which is not necessarily wrong but I want it to keep a bit of its fun tone at least.
