I can’t really think of a YA book that touches on Aztec mythology in this fashion. It gave me Rick Riordan vibes, and I can’t wait to see how this author tackles the rich folklore of Mexico to build a fresh new fantasy world. “Cemetery Boys” was amazing, but can this deliver as well?
