What I did not expect was to start off with a confession of murder. The book shoots off with a bang and I could not get enough. I wanted to hear all the gory details and confessions of this serial killer who so carefully plans these acts. I need to know why now he telling his story. I am enjoying the retrospection and planning and the leaps in time and place that seem to disorient me to the overall plot. I know in the end we will know why now these shocking confessions. The protagonist is a master manipulator but it so seems the author may be one as well! This book will check off several genres and peek the interest of readers who enjoy thrillers, horror, true crime, mysteries, and Twisty psychological books.
