With The Suicide House, Charlie Donlea delivers an intriguing thriller packed with interesting characters and enough twists to keep the reader guessing.

Donlea introduces a tantalizing mystery involving private school kids but intertwines it with a variety of engaging characters who all find themselves engtangled in Westmount Prep murders. At times, it is difficult to keep track of the characters (and some names are very similar!) and some stories do not seem entirely necessary (a lot of attention is devoted to Rory's doll hobby), but the writing is action-packed and descriptive and the book is a quick read that will keep some readers guessing.

The Suicide House is a solid choice for readers who like a fast-paced psychological thriller. Donlea includes characters from his other books but this book still works well as a standalone piece.
