This was such an amazing book. I got to about chapter 10 before I realised it was part of series. I wanted to read them in order, so I put it on pause and read the first book. I’m so happy I did, because it was a great introduction to the main characters. Charlie Donlea is a brilliant author! I can typically figure out the plot twist by at least halfway through a book, but he never gave anything away. I was guessing until the end. The story was so easy to follow and I love the descriptive writing style. I enjoyed every single detail of this book, and hope there will be a book three. The characters are all relatable and there were no loose ends whatsoever. I felt a very strong connection with Rory in both books while reading, which doesn’t happen often for me. I will continue with Gus Morelli’s story, as per the note recommendations, and just keep working my way through the author’s previous works while I wait for book three! I cannot recommend this book enough, it was incredible!
