The cover of this book pulls your eye immediately with the vivid red that honestly - could be bloodspater, or could be ivy leaves! I like that the red leaves of ivy are a subtle nod to the "ivy league" type of school where the book is centered.
The very first lines of this book made my jaw drop, and made my mind up that i have to finish this book as soon as possible! It is not often that the opening lines of a book can solidify the need to read, but i was instantly hooked. The concept of a forensic reconstructionist on the spectrum leads to intrigue, but also an instant kinship and support of the character, for me. The fact that she has OCD tendencies leads me to think that there wont be hardly as many frustrating "Why would you do that?!" with evidence and crime scenes, but that she may share my frustrations with other characters doing nonsensical things!
