I can definitely see from the excerpt why the bookish masses have been clamoring for this book. I dig the Bloody Mary reference with the Man in the Mirror but he sounds even more terrifying than she did back in the day. It sucks you in just like that rushing train would if it got the chance. Charlie Donlea does an impressive job setting the scene and tone for the nature of the crimes in the book. The beginning portion is just laying the groundwork but I am hooked!
