I was thoroughly pleased and spooked and hooked after reading the first few pages of "The Suicide House"! Upon first impression, I wasn't completely sold based off the cover. It wasn't until I read the synopsis that I was pulled into the mystery and the fact its a female detective really sold me! I enjoyed the set up of the book, making the beginning feel like you were reading police reports. I also enjoyed that the story of what happened at The Suicide House was spread out so you found out more and more as you read on. The fact the book is centered around crime podcasts is what I believe will really get readers to pick this up.
