First of all -- the cover of this one is outstanding! Second of all, I was excited to see that this was part of a "series," but could be read as a stand-alone as well. I was not familiar with this author before reading this First Look, but he is definitely on my radar now! The premise alone of this book sounds completely intriguing, but after reading the first chapters, I can see that I will not be disappointed. I loved the format of these chapters, too. Something a little different, yet it works in every way. Can't wait to read the book in its entirety!
