The premise of this is super intriguing, although, I have to say I've read a podcast mystery book before and that one was done extremely well and I don't like this setup as much. Though, it does make sense with the larger cast of characters. Speaking of the characters, I found it a little odd that of all the characters with POVs in these first seven chapters, none of them was the main character mentioned in the summary. I don't usually read adult mystery/thrillers, but this one definitely caught my attention.
