This book did not stand out well for me. I tried so hard to give it a fair shake. The premise was so promising, but I honestly could not fully enjoy our follow this book. I feel like there was too much going on and it was not well paced at all. The story either raced by or progressed far too slowly. The characters did not stand out and i found it hard to relate and care about them.
I found myself starting and restarting this book in an effort to make it through. When I finally finished this book I was pleased with the resolutions and the end results.
The cover and blurb do a great job of pulling you into this book and peaking your interest. If I saw this book in a shelf at the store I definitely would have picked it up solely based off of that.
