I am wholeheartedly impressed with this book! I did not expect to like this book at first glance, yes I judge a book by its cover🙈, and am happy I got over it.
I love the duo MC's: Buc and Eld. The 2 summed up: Eld uses his calm and professional demeanor that attempts to lessen the blow of Buc's hotheaded and aggressive brassiness.
Though I hated the fact Buc referred/insulted EVERY female by calling them a b*tch. Especially with this book written by a male author. I understand it was a part of Box's persona, but it was so unnecessary!!!! She even called women a b*tch when complimenting them...which still came out as a backhand compliment.
Otherwise the story was Great and though a medium-paced read, it continued to capture my interest.
