What a Great Mix of Action-Packed Awesomeness!

If the blurb for this book doesn't intrigue you, you can't seriously be a true reader. While fantasy isn't typically in my wheelhouse of preferred reading, I think throwing in "dead gods," "a pirate queen," "shapeshifting mages," etc. could probably win me over. I love the imagery in this book, first of all -- it really paints a picture for the reader, and that is always something big for me. Second of all, the POV just seems to work wonderfully. I loved this first look and can't wait to see more from this series!
