From the first paragraph alone, I was in love with the writing. Buc's storytelling draws you in and I love that you can't tell how much is fact and how much is fiction. You're thrown right into the middle of the predicament that Buc and Eld got themselves in and the excerpt left on such a cliffhanger that I need to know how they get themselves out of it! I also found their partner relationship interesting and can't wait to see how that is explored throughout the rest of the book. I don't think the cover does this book justice though.
