The fantasy adventure I need right now!
This first look makes me think that 'The Sin in the Steel' has fun with - but doesn't limit itself - to the patterns of fantasy and action/adventure stories. I LOVE the book's first paragraph, for instance - how it comments on power through literacy and knowledge. And I predict Buc and Eld's relationship will anchor the action to follow.
I do like the cover... but it's a little all-over-the-place and maybe misleading. For example, why feature Buc only?
