The first chapter opens up into what seems like should be halfway into the book, which I honestly hate so much. Don’t throw me into a situation that I have to figure out. It seems like wild Wild West meets steampunk meets DnD, along with the narration style of a pretentious try-hard, and I’ll be skipping this one for sure.
