I was excited to begin this sneak peek, but it unfortunately left me a bit confused. I'm not a big fan of the writing style. It sees to be going one way one second before veering in the other direction in the next. I think the thing that confused me the most was the dialogue. It seemed common vernacular at first but then the MC would veer off into some poetic speech all of a sudden??? Though it was pretty, it didn't feel consistent to me. Maybe I'm misreading it but, given the way I feel, I don't think this book is one for me.
