A very ambitious debut fantasy. The description made the book sound interesting but when i read the excerpt it seemed a bit all over the place. There was a lot going on and a lot of the things sort of confused me. I feel like maybe the author tried to combine too many fantasy ideas into one book.
I didn't mind the cover, but didn't feel like it matched the book.
