The first two chapters are interested and well written. And the idea of a fantasy novel that incorporates crime is intriguing. But I’m just not a fantasy person and it’s not a genre I typically steer to. That being said, for those who like fantasy, this might be the novel of the year for this genre. Seems like it’s a page turner already.
