An Intriguing Glimpse into an Underrepresented Story Set in WW2
I really love revisiting stories set in WW2. It's a reminder that things could be so much worse compared to this point in time now, but also the hope from characters in this timeframe is uplifting and inspiring.
We get just a brief glimpse in the life of Maria & Kostya, two very different characters, at a point in history that is extremely underrepresented. I'm intrigued to see what will happen next for these two characters, especially when Maria finds out her brother is alive and for what Kostya has gotten himself into with the UPA.
