So this is the final book I chose to read for the #24in48 challenge and I am so
glad I did!
There’s so much hype surrounding this book that, even if I was a little bit bored to begin with (which, I’m not honestly sure I was), it would have held my attention just because I’ve heard how good it is. And was it ever! The twist killed my brain. Mind blown! This book is a good reason why I will be purchasing every one of Alex Michaelides’s future novels automatically!
One of my favorite things about this book was how completely blindsided I was when the big twist came. I didn’t see it coming AT ALL, when I normally at least have some kind of an idea of what’s coming.
The writing also flowed very nicely, and I think I only spotted one typo. The characters were all sympathetic and most had dimension. I’m excited to
read what his mind comes up with next!
