This book got me. If you loved Shutter Island and the major plot twists it held as well as the dark and deep psychological aspect, you will love The Silent Patient. I am now recommending this one to everyone that will at least half listen to me. I could not put it down at all and was amazed by the different perspectives and how the story came together towards the end. You never knew who to trust and although it isn't supernatural like, I still felt as though I was being watched and was kept on the edge of my seat. I could not read it fast enough nor could I talk about it with my significant other fast enough. He was also amazed by this story just from my retelling of it to him. What an amazing read!
