I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I was expecting something a little more creepy. But.....this was a well written story of one woman's journey of silence to keep peace in what has happened to her in her short marriage. I was in ABSOLUTE AND UTTER SHOCK at the end. I DID NOT see the ending coming!! Oh. My. Goodness. Was that a throw through a big loop! I love books that make you sit and think well after your done with it and it continues to haunt your thoughts on a daily basis! This book was not only special in it's own way, but held me tight until the last page, where I was shocked into oblivion! If you like stories that you DON'T SEE COMING, this is a highly recommended book for you in my opinion.
