Received this book as an ARC and the cover look and title of this book immediately drew me in! The development of plot and characters did not let me down. The story of a beautiful artist, Alicia, and her violent crime develops nicely through the standpoint of her diary and through the research of her psychotherapist, Theo. His determination to reveal the natute of her crime by breaking her silence is the catalyst of this plot. The story I found to be unique and well written by this author. It had all the characteristics of a great read, it was both suspenseful and different to say the least! Would absolutely love to read more from this author in the future! I would love to see a movie adaptation as well.
