I thoroughly enjoyed this fiction. It’s a murder mystery/psychological thriller. If you enjoyed The Woman in the Window or The Girl on the Train - this book is for you.
We start out knowing what happened, Alicia killed her husband. That is not in dispute, however, what we are trying to discover is WHY. Why did she kill him and why so brutally?
We uncover this story through the eyes of Theo Farber, a forensic psychologist, who feels a need to help Alicia. My curiosity was immediately peeked at why Theo was so interested in her, but I couldn't put the clues together in time to understand Theo's why and not just Alicia's.
This compelling read will suck you in and take you for a ride until the very end when it all comes together and you realize who is really the devious person in this story.
