Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved everything about this book. MY MIND WAS BLOWN. I immediately made my husband read it because I wanted to discuss it with him. I do not read many thrillers, and have only read one or two books before with an unreliable narrator.
Alicia Berenson was an artist. Her husband dies and she is the primary suspect. After his death, she doesn't speak. It is unknown if this is by choice or not. She is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where she meets Theo Faber, her criminal psychotherapist.
I really enjoyed going through her journals she wrote in up until the time of the accident- it allows you to see things from her perspective before she was admitted.
