For starters, this book did not go in the direction I thought it was going to go. But wow. Such an insane story.
A woman is put away for killing her husband and refuses to say anything for years. AKA she’s a silent patient. (The title of this book is extremely fitting and also distracting!). Therapist Theo wants to help her, but the journey will hit so many twists and turns.
So many different aspects are at play in this book. From the life of an artist, to Greek plays and psychology, so many hints are thrown in that led me astray in my personal detective work to figure the truths.
Alex Michaelides was able create such an insane story line that brought his characters off the page. I listened to him speak about writing this story - I recommend looking it up, he’s cool!
As always, my heart rate was high and I stayed up late to finish the story. For all my thriller fans out there, read this one if you haven’t not already!
