I loved this one!!
This follows a psychotherapist who begins working with a patient who murdered her husband and since then, has not spoken a word.
The tone was so ominous and the writing was *mostly* gripping. There were a few parts that slowed down for me and I felt a little bored, but this didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the story too much. I've seen some people say that they guessed the twist early on, but even as someone who reads a ton of thrillers I wasn't able to guess what was going to happen. I also really enjoyed getting the perspective from Theo and from Alicia's diary entries.
Definitely looking forward to whatever Alex Michealides comes out with next!
