Everything The Silent Patient this book from the beginning to the end kept me on the edge of my seat. In addition to having a great, well paced storyline, the writing itself is beautiful.
From Alicia’s diary entries admonishing herself to not have crazy thoughts, to shooting her husband, to her therapist’s dogged determination to help her heal mentally in order to regain her voice while caught in the throes of personal emotional turmoil, the whole book is a roller coaster of emotion and a constant questioning of who (if anyone) can be trusted.
Several weeks after finishing the novel, it still has a hold of my mind, especially the ending. This is a fantastic read for fans of psychological thrillers.
