Alicia Berenson’s life seems perfect. She is married to the perfect husband Gabriel, is a well respected artist and lives a posh life. But one night when Gabriel returns home from work Alicia shoots him five times in the face killing him. She becomes silent from that moment on. Theo Faber is a criminal psychotherapist joining the staff at the hospital she is now a patient. He is determined to work with her and for her to tell the story of what happened that night.
Through twists and turn you dive into not only Alicia’s mind but Theo’s as well.

The story drew me in from the start and the book I literally could not put it down!! Thank goodness my schedule was clear so I could read and read! I kept wanting more. I would read a little and think oh that’s what happened, read some more and think no that’s what happened! Little did I know I was in for a surprise.

What a shock of an ending! Didn’t see that coming!! I read reviews where some thought it was predictable so I guess I don’t read enough mysteries because it wasn’t at all to me!

Overall I’m giving it 4 1/2 stars. It was fast paced and kept me hooked. But I felt the ending was a little rushed. I wanted some more so 1/2 point taken off. Definitely recommend this book for a quick page turner.
