Wow. That was, how can I put it? Amazing, incredible, and I could list so many other words for it.

This is the best thriller of 2019, hands down. This was actually one of the first thrillers i've read, and it was remarkable. It is set in London. Alicia Berenson is a famous painter married to an sought-after fashion photographer. She lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening her husband Gabriel returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face, and then never speaks another word.

These events already build the questions. Why did she kill her husband? What actually happened that night? It makes you read to the very end to find out the truth.

All the characters are fleshed out and unique. They have emotions and motivations. The ending pulls a twist you never expect, and changes your whole view of who is innocent and who is guilty.

P.S. One of the characters who seems innocent isn't really clean...
