The first thing that comes to mind right after reading this book is what a TWIST. The climax was unexpected and I didn't see it coming. Usually in other thriller/suspense stories, I would get enough hints to figure out who the antagonist is before it is actually revealed, but this caught me by surprise! There were many plausible suspects and suspicious events that may or may not be important. The many possibilities kept me guessing and I couldn't put down the book because I wanted to find out the truth. And when I got there, I couldn't belive it. The way the story was written leading up to the climax was good too. It's mostly told through Theo's (the pyshotherapist) perspective and it was naive of me to assume he is a reliable narrator. I also wasn't aware there were multiple timelines until near the end of the story, but it wasn't too hard to figure out what was the past versus current when you get to that point. The ending also provided appropriate closure. Overall I think it's a really good story and I enjoyed reading it.
