I thought the way the book was written was unique with a lot of flashbacks occurring through diary entries. Halfway through the novel I figured out the plot twists. I felt the main character was extremely frustrating throughout the entire story. The storyline and plot were not difficult to follow, but I wished the other minor characters tried harder to relate to their patient. Unfortunately, I believe these situations happen in real life quite often. I love the cover and how it looks like ripped paper looks like a zipper. It shows a bit of foreshadowing in high is nice. You can also see a woman in the background who I believe represents the patient that is the focus of the story. This story did not keep my attention throughout reading and it took me over a week to finish reading it. Normally, I finish books in about three days so this one was a challenge for me to finish.
