If you've been living under a rock (no judgement) and haven't heard of this book, forget reading the rest of this review. Just go out and buy it now. I read a lot of thrillers in the summer (there's just something about the season!), so I tend to get a little burned out and see the "aha!" moment coming too early. That was not at all the case with this book. I was kept guessing until the absolute end. While I thought I had solved the mystery, I was unaware that there was an entire sub-mystery happening until it hit me in the face. That is the kind of thriller I like. I want to be shocked, and this book shocked me. I found the plot and setting to be perfect and I ended up really liking the characters. Also the cover is pretty!
