First of all, it's hard to believe that this book is Alex Michaelide's first book. #TheSilentPatient is one of the best psychological thrillers that I've read.
An upcoming artist is found guilty of murdering her photographer husband. The wife is confined to a mental hospital and never speaks a word until a new psychotherapist takes over her case.
I read the book in 2 days and just knew how the story would unfold, but I was completely surprised.
The only reason I rated the book 4 stars instead of 5 stars was because of the profanity. The "f" word was used throughout the book and in my opinion, the book would have been a great book for me without this language.
